listening and comprehension skills.
WRITING: We write daily in our journals. We will be working on writing a small moment
story.
SCIENCE/SOCIAL
STUDIES:
We will continue
our study of weather and how to stay safe in various weather types. We have practiced fire drills and tornado
drills.
We will be tasting
3 different kinds of apples and voting on our favorite. We will learn to read the tallies.
The children heard
the story of the Little red house with no doors, no windows and a star
inside. I will send home a variation of
the story!
Next week we will
make applesauce.
MATH:
We will be looking
more in to shapes and their attributes.
The children will be introduced to 5 and 10 frames as well as working on
ways to sort.
