Welcome to Kindergarten!
We have had a busy start to our year!  Our class is now 21 students.  Five moved to the new kindergarten classroom on Monday.  

We begin our day talking about the calendar and weather, then the schedule for the day.   We are working on the alphabet.  Every day is a different letter.  We are learning about parts of the book, how to 'read' a book, the author and illustrators job, and how to care for books.  In math we are learning rhymes to help us write numbers.

Tuesday and Thursday we have gym.   PLEASE remember gym shoes!
Wednesday afternoon is music, Library every other week.

The children have  had some very busy days at school.  They will need plenty of rest to keep up with the schedule!
