BABY PICTURES:  I still need more baby pictures!!!
In a few weeks we will be doing a paper on past, present, future.  I will need a baby (preferable infant age) picture of your child.  You can email it to me or send it in—if you send it in I will copy and get it back to you as soon as I can.  The children will be gluing this copy of their picture to their paper and writing what they could do at that age.  I have current pictures they will glue under present and they will write about what they can do now!  Then they will draw what they will look like and will write about what they will do in the future.  It’s a fun project!

Keep saving those caps!  We’re counting as they come in!!  One more week!!

BOOK BAGS:  They all have their book bags!  We will do Monday & Friday for returns and new shopping day!  PLEASE send their bags Friday and we will shop for new books for the weekend!  They are SO excited!!!!  Then send them back on Monday and we will shop for books they read until Friday!  Repeat reading builds their skills!

WRITING:  We write daily in our journals.
We are learning about informational writing and will be writing our own information book.
