READING:
This week we
finished up Hh as we had a snow day!
Wednesday we will begin Ee and sight words are & had. Please continue to read sight words at home! The practice is helping those that need
it!!!!
Our story this
week is The Grand Old Tree. We
will be learning about living things (trees) and how they grow. This past week we planted the Amaryllis bulb
and are patiently watching it grow a bit every day!
We are writing
every day in our journals and working on pattern book writing!
MATH:
We are looking at
understanding teen numbers. How to write
them, build them, Also introducing 2D
and 3D shapes
SCIENCE & SOCIAL STUDIES
We are focusing on
winter and force/motion
STUDENT OF THE WEEK: NATALIE
Natalie knocked
out her front tooth. She has traveled
all over and even been to Australia. She
lived in an RV for three awesome years!
Natalie likes mac
& Cheese, pizza, blueberries, cantaloupe, watermelon, apples, tomatoes and
ice cream!
Her goals are to
read a book all by herself and keep her room clean so the dog won’t eat her
toys! Her favorite movie is Moana.
