The children did the DIBELS test Monday. (the 1 minute test—letters, sounds and blending)
The 18th we are taking the reading portion of the computer test (NWEA) and next Tuesday we do the Math.  I will begin doing report card assessments in the next few weeks for report cards that come home in February.

I’m quickly assessing sight words and numbers to see where the kids are at!  I’ll send a sheet home as I finish them!  We’ve introduced through at as of this week!  19 so far!  There is 51 total!

Children that turned in their Christmas homework sheets received a book.

Monday is the last day to turn those and the December Pizza Hut calendars.

Thanks for all you do with sight word and number practice.  I’m seeing growth in the children.  Keep reading books!  Seeing sight words in books really helps build their reading confidence!!!

Have a great weekend!
Melissa
